Organizational Development & Learning Centre

The Organizational Development & Learning Centre (ODLC), provides learning opportunities in the areas of leadership development, management, communication, professional and computer skills. 

  • Staff and managers have access to career services including confidential counseling, workshops and online career tools
  • Staff and managers can access resources to help them maintain a positive and healthy work-life balance
  • We offer managers one-on-one coaching to develop their professional lives and their teams. We consult with managers to design sessions that support team success
  • ODLC has a library which holds a substantial collection of books, videos and DVDs on leadership, career development, and work-life.

 When Should I Contact the Office?

  • You are a staff member seeking ways to improve your performance in your current position and could benefit from taking some courses or an individual consultation to assess your options;
  • You are looking beyond your current role and want to set some goals to continue your learning and plan for further development;
  • You are a manager who wishes to build your professional skills and develop your team to achieve its full potential;
  • You are experiencing some work-life challenges and wish to explore flexible work arrangements; and,
  • You are aware the University offers many opportunities and resources but do not know where to begin to access them.
