Benefits & Pension

The Benefits & Pension team provides a number of services including:

  • Overseeing and managing relations with the external providers of our benefits and pension plans;
  • Responding to complex employee inquiries regarding plan provisions;
  • Developing and producing  pension and benefits-related education sessions and materials for HR Divisional Offices and employees;
  • Facilitating the retirement process, including administering special retirement programs;
  • Managing the settlement of deaths-in-service;
  • Facilitating benefits continuation for leaves of absence; and,
  • Providing consultative work to support negotiations and development of pension and benefit programs.
