This is a reminder that applications for reimbursement of eligible 2011 expenses must be received by February 28, 2012 using the applicable Child Care Benefit Plan Application Form.

Under the plan, you can receive reimbursement (a T4 taxable benefit) for eligible child care expenses incurred during the 2011 calendar year for children under the age of seven, up to a maximum of $2,000 per child.

Since the total fund for reimbursement for each employee group is capped, we need to receive all applications before determining the final reimbursement amount. As a result, we are not able to accept late applications. Applications received after February 28, 2012 will not be processed.

Please note that with the upcoming launch of the new HR & Equity website, these application forms will be found under the ‘Forms' section of the site.
