I am delighted to share with you that Erin Jackson has been awarded this year’s Chancellor’s Award for Influential Leaders. This award recognizes the important work and the exceptional leadership that Erin has so far demonstrated throughout her career at the University.

Erin has established herself as a knowledgeable and trusted Human Resources leader. Through her role as Chief Human Resources Officer, she has made a significant contribution to the institution, influencing critical decisions that impact the university community and providing strategic guidance and support to the University’s President, Provost, Vice Presidents, and other senior administrators. Under Erin’s guidance, her team has contributed to the introduction and development of programs and policies, which advance the University’s commitment to equity, diversity and excellence and have contributed to the recognition of U of T as a top employer.

As a leader, Erin is recognized for the talent management of her own team and the portfolio as a whole, providing them with opportunities to grow professionally and motivating them to perform at a high level. From developing a new strategic vision for HR & E to providing advice and support to her colleagues across the University’s three campuses, Erin is highly regarded by her peers as a true leader and a champion of innovation and inclusion in the field of Human Resources.
