Employee Appreciation Day

Dear colleagues,

March 2nd is observed globally as Employee Appreciation Day. On this day it is important to recognize how our employee’s commitment and passion contribute to fulfilling our mission. As members of the U of T Community, each of us play an important role in making the University a great place to learn, grow and work.

From the strong network of researchers, TAs, librarians, and professors collaborating on all three University of Toronto campuses; to the staff and faculty who play such an important role in bringing new discoveries and innovations to the world beyond U of T; to the individuals working in our administrative and operations units, who pave the way for enhancing the student, employee, and research experience: Thank you for your unwavering dedication. Your talents, skills, and passion are evident and I am truly grateful for your enduring commitment to excellence.

I invite you to take a moment to acknowledge your colleagues, peers and friends. Our success as Canada’s leading institution of learning and one of the world’s top research-intensive universities is the result of hardworking world-class staff, faculty and employees. We express our sincere gratitude to each one of you.

Sincerely,

Kelly Hannah-Moffat
