What the Plan offers
The Joint Membership Plan offers a combined, discounted membership fee for the following three University of Toronto St. George (UTSG) facilities:
The Athletic Centre
The University of Toronto’s (U of T) Athletic Centre provides a wide range of recreational programs for all ages and skill levels. Joint Plan members enjoy access to swimming pools, an indoor track, seven gyms, strength training equipment, courts for squash, badminton, tennis and table tennis, golf cage, steam rooms, and over 100 aquatics, fitness, dance, and movement classes. Members receive a 10% discount on children’s programs and camps, as well as access to the Varsity Centre’s outdoor track and skating programs.
The Faculty Club
The Faculty Club has something for everyone — from fine dining to pub fare, members can also make full use of its extensive facilities for meetings, weddings or anniversaries. Enjoy wine tastings, oyster nights and traditional holiday events. Faculty Club membership has many additional benefits, including access to the world’s best private clubs and golf courses.
Hart House attracts both campus and community members. Open 365 days a year, Hart House Fitness Centre offers free drop-in classes, specialty classes from dance to martial arts, an art deco swimming pool, and personal training. Hart House also hosts a variety of events including film screenings, debates, art tours, food and agriculture workshops, music, lectures and retreats. It is also home to the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery, the Gallery Grill restaurant, and the vintage Hart House Theatre.
Mississauga and Scarborough campuses
Although the Joint Membership Program is based on facilities at the St. George campus, faculty and staff at U of T Mississauga (UTM) and U of T Scarborough (UTSC) may also choose a reduced-rate membership to facilities at their respective campuses through the ‘Plan B’ option.
