Compensation changes for Confidential, PM, AP and RA / SRA Staff

Further to my message of June 23, 2017 and the July 27, 2017 compensation follow-up message from Erin Jackson, Chief HR Officer, I am pleased to update you on changes to your compensation.

On October 10th, Business Board approved the following:

 

1.    Across-the-Board (ATB) Increase

An Across-the-Board (ATB) increase of 1.8% for all eligible Confidential, PM 1-5 Professional & Managerial Staff, Research Associates and Senior Research Associates.

 

2.    One-Time Special Base Adjustment

A One-Time Special Base Salary Adjustment of 0.75% for all eligible Confidential, PM 1-9 Professional & Managerial Staff, Advancement Professionals, Research Associates and Senior Research Associates.

Please note that both increases are based on June 30, 2017 salaries and will be implemented in the October pay, retro to July 1, 2017. Further processing instructions for Business Officers will be forthcoming.

As previously communicated, implementation of pension contribution increases from 6.8% / 8.4% (6.3%/8.4% for RA / SRA) to 7.70% / 9.50% (7.15% / 9.5% for RA / SRA) effective June 30, 2017, will also be implemented in the October pay, retro to July 1, 2017.
